Overview of the Manager Portal

Welcome to CommercialEdge Commissions.

With just one platform, you can easily navigate your deal data, commissions, invoice status, and other critical reports. No more spreadsheets or manual tracking systems.

Note: You will need to be assigned the Manager role to access this functionality


Getting Started with the Manager Portal

This role is designed for individual contributors with access to either a specific team of agents or the entire brokerage. With the manager role, you will be able to create and manage vouchers, send invoices, and run reports for a team of agents. This role is ideal for individuals who oversee agents but do not manage accounting functions.

In this guide, we'll cover everything you need to know about the Manager Portal and how you can use it to streamline your tasks and manage your commissions more efficiently.

1. Opportunities

Leverage the Opportunities module to keep track of deals that are still in your pipeline - know where in the process each deal is and understand what your potential income is from those deals.

As a potential deal starts to come together, input the information you have into CE Commissions as a new Opportunity.

When the deal closes, mark it as "Closed - Won" and easily convert all of the data into a new Voucher.

2. Vouchers

Organize all transactions into digital vouchers with deal data, commission splits, invoice dates, and other key metrics. Easily input and track all types of commission transactions. Vouchers streamline the record-keeping process and allow for better visibility into deals and potential revenue.

3. Approvals

This system is designed to ensure that every voucher goes through a thorough review and check process before it is submitted as active. This helps to prevent any errors or discrepancies from occurring and ensures accurate deal data.

Our system is user-friendly and easy to manage, making it convenient for you to monitor the progress of your vouchers. You can also customize the approval process according to your specific needs and preferences.

4. Invoices

Once vouchers are approved, view and manage all commission-related invoices. Email invoices directly to customers and get notified when payments are received.

4. Agent Payments

View all commission payments in one portal. Keep track of year-to-date earnings and payments.

6. Reports

Access a full suite of accounting reports, from deposits to payment history and aged receivables. Easily download any report to a preformatted PDF or Excel file.

If you are assigned to a "Team" you will only be able to view data for agents on your team.

7. Agent View

Select to see CommercialEdge Commissions as a Manager OR switch to 'Agent View' to work in CE Commissions as an Agent - with all areas filtered for your deals only.

By default, whenever a manager logs in they will be seeing the full 'Manager View.' Once in CE Commissions, use the drop down option in the top right where the user name is listed and select 'Agent View' to toggle your dashboard and top menu options to the limited Agent View.

To switch back to Manager View, simply use the drop down option in the top right where the User Name is listed and select 'Manager View.'

A: Your team may have custom permissions enabled. Please contact your brokerage administrator with additional questions.

A: Team assignments allow managers to view all or limited data for a specific group of agents.

Q: What if I forget my login information?

A: If you forget your login information, click on the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. You will be prompted to enter your email address associated with your account, and instructions on how to reset your password will be sent to you.

Q: Is there a mobile app for the Manager Portal?

A: At this time, the CommercialEdge Commissions is only accessible through a web browser, but our team is constantly looking for ways to improve and enhance our tools and features.
